W. David McChesney, MD.

Dr. McChesney has been practicing orthopedic surgery in northwest Houston since 1991. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College in 1976. He received a Masters in Physiology and his Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1978 and 1982, respectively. His residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, which included training at Children's Hospital National Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health, was completed at the George Washington University Medical Center in 1987. Dr. McChesney then served in the United States Air Force as Chief of Orthopedics and Podiatry until entering private practice in 1991.

Dr. McChesney practices general orthopedics, with a special interest in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, and serves as team physician for the Cypress Falls High School Eagles.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a member of the Houston Orthopedic Society and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
