Kimberlea Staton, M.D.
Dr. Staton joined Advanced Orthopaedics in August 2003. She practices orthopedic surgery, with subspecialty fellowship training in Hand Surgery. Her interests include the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, degenerative joint diseases of the hand and wrist, hand reconstructive procedures and injuries of the hand. She treats both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Staton completed her bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics at Texas A&M University. She graduated with honors from medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Her residency in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship in Hand Surgery were completed in Memphis, Tennessee at the Campbell Clinic/University of Tennessee. Dr. Staton practiced general orthopedics at the VA in Memphis prior to relocating to northwest Houston.
Dr. Staton is a Candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and Resident member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She also holds memberships in the Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
