Brandon Lau, PT, DPT is the newest physical therapist to Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2020, and prior to that, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin from the Kinesiology Exercise Science program in 2014. He plans to attain a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute to further his knowledge and abilities to improve patient outcomes in the near future.
Brandon is no stranger to the Houston area. He grew up in Houston, and actually completed one of his clinical rotations at Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine as a student in pursuit of his Doctorate degree. His personal approach to treating patients involves impairment-based diagnosing in addition to movement analysis with hands-on assessment of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular system. He then develops an individualized treatment plan in order to maximize each patients’ functional potential.
Brandon’s personal interests include spending time with family and friends, weight lifting, traveling, snowboarding, and sports.
