Dr. Aaron Hanyu-Deutmeyer is a double board-certified interventional pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Houston and medical school at Midwestern University, he completed his residency at Northwestern Medicine’s Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed his subspecialty training at the nationally-renowned UC Davis Pain Medicine Fellowship Program, serving as Chief Fellow of Education. Following a year in private practice, Dr. Hanyu-Deutmeyer moved to New Orleans, where he served as the Associate Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Ochsner Health and was named a Top Doctor in Louisiana and New Orleans for several consecutive years. He has been recognized for his empathetic care and holistic approach to pain management.

Dr.Hanyu-Deutmeyer performs a comprehensive range of procedures, including epidurals, nerve blocks, joint injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, vertebral augmentation, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators, and basivertebral nerve ablation. He takes a holistic, compassionate approach to patient care, focusing on education and support to help patients regain control of their lives through personalized treatment plans. He has a particular interest in neuromodulation as a non-opioid treatment and remains active in the field through national medical societies and conference presentations. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Houston with his wife and children, hiking, swimming, and traveling. Dr. Hanyu looks forward to serving the patients of the Greater Houston area and bringing them the same level of care and empathy that has been the hallmark of his career.

Julianna Lopez is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), she has experience in chiropractic and primary care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality patient care while helping patients feel comfortable and informed. She is committed to expanding her clinical skills and continuing to grow in the healthcare field. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, embroidery, and spending time with family and friends.
