Bryan J. Mills, M.D.
Bryan J. Mills, MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of hand and wrist injuries and ailments. He typically treats patients with Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Fractures, Nerve Entrapment, and Trigger Finger. He chose the hand and wrist as his specialty due to their importance in a patient’s everyday life, but also because it is an intricate part of the body that involves so many different aspects of the orthopedics field.
Dr. Mills spent part of his childhood in Southern Florida before moving to Northern New Jersey where he graduated from Columbia High School. He attended the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He went on to earn his MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, before completing his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Massachusetts.
As a surgical resident in 2013, Dr. Mills presented his research on “Posterior Spinal Fusion in Children With Flaccid Neuromuscular Scoliosis: The Role of Noninvasive Positive Pressure Ventilatory Support” at the Pediatric Orthopaedic Club of New York and saw it published in the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics later that year. In addition, he collaborated with Dr. Thomas Breen and Dr. Peter Wagner to research “Outpatient Pain Management After Operative Treatment of Distal Radius Fractures” while completing his Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Mills is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association for Hand Surgery and Harris County Medical Society. In addition to his passion for medicine and healing patients, he enjoys meteorology, traveling, water-skiing, fishing, and ultimate Frisbee.

My wait time was minimal. My son and I genuinely like the doctor and how he explained our condition to us. We never felt rushed.
Dr. Mills has an excellent "bedside manner". He answered my questions in a simple, straight forward manner.

What Our Patients Are Saying
I was at your office yesterday saw Dr Mack & Dr Brooks I had a great visit with them. My right knee feels GREAT! today.
Dr. Tanous and everyone at Advanced Orthopaedics are great. The surgery to repair my knee injury and the treatment afterwards were handled amazingly well.
I have been fighting chronic knee pain for ten years following a knee replacement, a bone infection, and subsequent knee revision surgery. After a number of failed solutions to pain relief, Dr. Patel introduced me to RF
Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has, at 76, virtually given me a new lease on being mobile and active. I have seen Dr’s Tanous, Patel, and Cubbage for an assortment of neck, spine and hip problems.
Doctor Brooks is the best. His advice to get lubricant injected into my knees has made my life so much better. Kudos!
I was treated by Dr. Brooks, about a month ago, for a terrible pain on my right knee. He treated me and within 2 days I was like new. Now the pain started on my left knee. This time I went immediately to Dr. Brooks.
It has been eight weeks since my partial knee replacement and now I realized just how much I was missing. Having it done has made such a difference to my life. For a start my leg is now straight and my knees actually touch!
I just recovered from my 2nd back surgery by Dr. Mohr. I love the people there so much I just went back and saw a shoulder surgeon Dr. Fehsenfeld for cortisone shots.
I had been in so much pain with my back for years. It got so bad that I knew I had to do something. I went to Dr Mohr for help. I was so afraid to have spine surgery as I had heard so many horror stories.
Each procedure done by Dr. Patel has been an improvement. Very pleased.
