Dr. Joshua Lee is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon specializing in the care of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
After graduating summa cum laude from Baylor University, Dr. Lee completed his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas at Houston. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor Scott & White Hospital and fellowship training in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City under Samuel Cho, MD, and Saad Chaudhary, MD.
Dr. Lee provides both nonoperative and operative treatment for degenerative conditions such as arthritis, scoliosis, trauma, disc herniations, and spinal stenosis. He has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques, motion-preserving procedures including disc replacement and laminoplasty, and advanced technologies such as navigation-assisted and robotic spine surgery.
Dr. Lee takes a patient-centered approach, recommending nonsurgical treatments whenever possible and tailoring care plans to each patient’s goals. His career is distinguished by his dedication to advancing spine surgery and his compassionate commitment to improving the quality of life for patients with spinal conditions. He is married to his wife, Janice, and together they have a son, Weston. Dr. Lee looks forward to serving the patients of the greater Houston area with the same compassion and dedication he brings to his family.
