Michelle Hicks, DPT

Michelle Hicks was born and raised in Tomball, TX. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University followed by a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Blinn College. She practiced as a Physical Therapist Assistant for 3 years before returning to school at the University of Texas Medical Branch to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time in PT school, Michelle was awarded with the UTMB Silver Anniversary Scholarship and induction into the Alpha Eta Honor Society.

Her physical therapy treatment style is an individualized approach that looks at the body as a whole to determine a unique treatment plan for every patient. She is very passionate about helping each person reach their goals and return to an active healthy lifestyle, whether that includes long walks on the beach or lifting weights at the gym.

Michelle is a former competitive figure skater and has been a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Association (USFSA) for 11 years. She continues to figure skate as an adult and is a recent USFSA Gold Medalist. She also enjoys the outdoors, lifting weights, and spending time with her family, friends, and puppies.
