Stuart Harman AGNP- CNurse Practitioner

Stuart grew up in Beaumont, TX. He attended Lamar University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After graduating, Stuart decided he wanted to pursue a nursing career and attended The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. There he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Stuart worked as a Registered Nurse for almost 8 years with Memorial Hermann Health System with med-surge, cardio-thoracic, telemetry, and intermediate care patients. Stuart’s compassion, knowledge, and commitment to his patients during his nursing career have led him to multiple patient care and skill set awards.

Stuart went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and became a board certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. While in graduate school, Stuart completed extensive training in the areas of orthopedics and trauma-related injuries, sports medicine, occupational health, cardiology, and internal medicine. Stuart’s diverse training and background allow him to see and treat his patients comprehensively while ensuring each individual is able to reach their full potential. He strives for each patient be an active participant in their plan of care and is educated on his or her disease process.

Stuart is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Houston Area Nurse Practitioners. In his free time, Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing basketball, golfing, watching sports, hunting, fishing, and being an active member of Houston’s First Baptist Church in Cypress.
