Elorie Komorita, PT, DPT comes to us as a recent graduate with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. Before that, she received a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston in 2015, where she graduated with high honors.
Her specific approach to physical therapy involves utilization of various hands on skills, objective and visual measurement of guide impairment diagnosis during a comprehensive evaluation, which she then uses to shape an individualized treatment plan. She is a strong believer in treating people by looking at a person and all their capabilities, instead of overfocusing on the problem area, and seeks to put an emphasis on creating a healthy, positive perspective and outlook.
A resident of the Alief neighborhood of Houston, Texas, she is no stranger to the area. She has two older brothers, who helped mold her competitive and steadfast personality, but she does try to slow down and enjoy the simpler things in life. She is a “foodie” who enjoys exercising, keeping up with the Houston Rockets, reading and creating memories with her family and friends.
