Dr. Sherif Dabash is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in operative or non-operative foot and ankle procedures, Reconstructive Surgery with deformity correction, Foot and Ankle Trauma, and Limb Lengthening. Recently, Dr. Dabash completed his fifth fellowship in Trauma at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. In addition, he has completed several previous fellowships in a variety of subspecialty clinics, including; Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction at Hospital For Special Surgery in Manhattan, New York; Foot and Ankle at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School Houston medical center.

Dr. Dabash was born to a family of medical doctors in Egypt. His parents influenced his decision to pursue a career as a medical professional. He was raised in the United States, affording him a unique multicultural perspective and insight that help his study and practice of medicine in a competitive field. Due to his international background, Dr. Dabash is fluent in English and Arabic, with a conversational understanding of German and French.

Before fellowship training, Dr. Dabash graduated with a Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Medicine in Orthopedics from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He received a Doctoral Degree Graduation Honor of Excellence Award for ranking in the top five percent of his graduating class. He retains substantial connections to and has contributed significantly to the Egyptian medical community, specifically in the field of orthopedics.

In the United States, Dr. Dabash has contributed extensively to the medical and scientific community in research and related work published in more than a dozen medical journals. The Florida Orthopedic Society (FOS) recognized his research and contributions, awarding him a Research Award. He also placed 3rd in a highly competitive Orthopedic Fellows Research Competition in 2014.

As an impassioned and seasoned medical professional, Dr. Dabash is actively a member of several medical societies and institutions, including the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). These memberships have helped nurture fulfilling relationships and made incredible opportunities to network with other professionals possible. They have and continue to help place Dr. Dabash at the forefront of the developments in orthopedics, nurture his professional growth, and make more contributions to the field.

Dr. Dabash enjoys music, tennis, swimming, travel and is an avid reader of non-fiction titles. However, his greatest passion is delivering outstanding professional care to patients from diagnosis to recovery while also working tirelessly to advance the field of orthopedics in the United States and underserved communities abroad.
